The first official service of its kind in New Brunswick, and the second chapter in Atlantic Canada, Shelter Movers New Brunswick addresses a critical gap in services to people experiencing abuse by providing free moving and storage services to survivors. Through the generosity of volunteers, employees, and local business partners, Shelter Movers New Brunswick is working to ensure an immediate and lasting impact on survivors within the community by providing support as they transition to a life free of violence. 

There is a growing need for our services in the province, with New Brunswick having the highest rate of criminal harassment against women in Canada. 85% of police-reported spousal homicide victims in New Brunswick are women.
