As Canada's largest urban centre for intimate partner violence incidents, the GTA sees thousands of survivors annually facing impossible choices between safety and their belongings. Our teams have facilitated countless moves, preserving family photos, children's toys, and essential documents that anchor survivors' sense of home during resettlement. Based in Toronto with dedicated extensions for Peel and York, Shelter Movers Greater Toronto operates exclusively by referral from frontline partners, coordinating volunteer teams with police escorts, storage providers, and businesses to execute moves of all-risk levels swiftly and securely.
