After two years of meticulous planning with the invaluable support of dedicated donors and our esteemed Board of Directors, we're proud to highlight the work we are doing with Firemen Movers now that the partnership is successfully underway.
With Shelter Movers now owning 70% of Firemen Movers Inc., alongside long-time supporter and volunteer Patrick Karpat (holding 25%) and FMI's founder, Lorne (holding 5%), we are not only investing in a successful enterprise but also in the future of our cause. This move towards ownership positions Shelter Movers to channel the profits from Firemen Movers back into our operations, ensuring that we can continue our vital work of relocating families to safety for decades to come.
While the day-to-day operations of Shelter Movers and Firemen Movers will remain unchanged, this partnership opens doors for future collaboration and mutual support.
